The Inspiration: Frodo the cat

Born in 2019, Frodo is an affectionate cat who loves nothing more than making new friends. To demonstrate his playful personality, I created a variety of different logos featuring different classic cat poses. The identity uses bright colors in combination with ornate detailing to represent Frodo's energetic nature and give a nod to his formal bow tie.

The cat cafe's name, Fellow & Sip, is a combination of multiple different factors. The words "fellow" and "sip" reference the cafe's mission to provide guests with a place to spend time with cats (fellows) while enjoying a delicious beverage (sip). Together, the name sounds like "fellowship", which pays homage to the origin of Frodo's name, the character with the same name from the classic book, the Fellowship of the Ring.

As a way to further develop the identity for Fellow & Sip, I developed a website using Framer. On the website, users can explore the home and about pages to learn about the cat cafe's history and some of the cats that live there.
